Kimball to go under the hammer

Kimball will be auctioned next month, selling for only the second time since settlement, and expected to go for a price range of between $9M and $12M.

´╗┐Kimball, a highly regarded Tumut district property, is set to go to auction next month.

Selling agents Webster Nolan Real Estate are indicating a price range of between $9M – $12M, well above the $2.03M it last sold for in 2003.

Productivity, fertile soils, water security and location are a few of the many features.

With over 4km of Tumut River frontage, Kimball is situated at 676 Gocup Road, five minutes from Tumut and 15 minutes from Gundagai.

The property boasts highly fertile and versatile alluvial river flats and elevated grazing country, with outstanding productivity, ideal for cattle, prime lambs and fodder cropping.

The current owners, Tony and Bill Barton, purchased the property from the Evershed family who had owned Kimball since settlement.

Kimball will go to auction on November 30 at auctionWORKS Rooms, Sydney.
