Championship and social bowls continue

Another week of bowls is upon the Gundagai District Services Bowling Club.

On Thursday there is social morning bowls, with names in by 9:15am for a 9:30am start. Championship matches can be played by mutual agreement.

The committee have decided to have one more bowls night on Thursday with names to be in by 5:30pm for a 6pm start. 

Bowlers, please note the change of starting time. After bowls a sausage sizzle will be held and everyone welcome.

On Saturday, there is social bowls with names in by 9:15am for a 9:30am start. 

Championship matches can be played by mutual agreement.

In Championship singles, D. Hlywa v J. Galvin, P. Hilton v A. Crawford, M. Naughton v P.O Reardon, P. Smith v John Pearce. Markers required.

In B-Grade singles, N. Armstrong v M. Goodsall.

In Mixed pairs, P. (Jasper) Smith and L. Polsen v H. Crowe and H. Lott, M. Maynard and C. Jackson v W. Carthew and C. Dowell and M. Houstein and P. Watling v G. Tickner and C. Luff.

There is social bowls on Sunday with names in by 9:15am for a 9:30am start. 

Championship matches can be played by mutual agreement.

In the Triples championship, N. Armstrong, T. Coggan and J. Galvin v P. Smith. B. Tout and G. Ingold.

Bowlers are reminded, daylight savings ends at Sunday. Clocks are to be turned back one hour on Saturday night.

With daylight savings ending, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday bowls will revert to afternoon play.
