Cheryl Franklin wins stableford

Golfers have really been enjoying the great conditions at the Gundagai Golf Course of late.. 

Cheryl Franklin blitzed the field with an amazing 43 points in the 18-hole stableford competition on Wednesday. 

Cheryl is a talented golfer, who is putting some great rounds together. 

Shauna Graham also had a fantastic round with 38 points, followed by Kim Mcrae on 35 points. 

All golfers played in a team game, the over 70s v the under 70s with the under 70s being the victors on the day.

Also, the final of the 4BBB knockout was held between Mandy Onus, Carol Dowell and Shauna Graham and Sal Keatinge with Shauna and Sal winning on the 17th hole.

The Gundagai Ladies Golf Club always welcome anyone who would like to join them on a Wednesday for golf. It’s a great way to keep fit, play golf and enjoy everyone’s company.

The club offers a variety of events in their golfing program with the Gundagai Vets Tournament coming up on April 13 and 14, so please get entries in.

Winner: Cheryl Franklin 43 points.

Runner up: Shauna Graham 38 points.

Balls: Kim McRae 35 points and Ruth Forster 31 points C/B.
