Graham wins medley stableford

Gundagai Services Golf Club held a Saturday medley stableford and Jock Graham won with 41 points, finishing ahead of Bill Graham and Ben Reardon on 36 Points.

Balls went to Jeff Ross, Jim Lanyon, Mick Bolger, Chris Annetts, Mick A Pigram, Nick Keatinge and Jim Stuckey.

The lady’s Wednesday competition saw Emelia Ferguson win with -3, finishing ahead of Kerry Gardner on -4.

Balls went to Jude McAlpine and Catia Lenehan.

In the mid-week 18-hole stableford, Dave Ferguson won with 35 points, beating ball winners Mick A Pigram and Jim Stuckey.

In the mid-week nine-hole stableford, Rod Burns won with 19 Points.

There was a Saturday four-ball stableford and Ben Shannon and Jock Graham won with 47 points, beating Bronson Beattie and Chris Annetts with 45 points.

This Saturday there is a medley stableford competition. 

Matchplay continues

The Gundagai Services Golf Club men’s doubles matchplay knockout continued last week and in some round one results, Brett Smith and David Pollack defeated Jim Stuckey and Mark Eccleston (1UP)l Brendan Lewis and Ben Reardon defeated Mick A. Pigram and Bill Barton (3 and 2); Dave Ferguson and Ben Shannon defeated Angus Stapleton and Bill Graham (1UP); Tim Myers and Mick Dow defeated Paul and Larry Smith (1st Playoff hole); David Hocking and Adam Evans defeated Rod Burns and Bryan Porritt; and Bronson Beattie and Mick Bolger defeated Chris Annetts and Bryan Shore. 

Remaining round one games need to be played as soon as possible and the club is asking teams to please organise to play matches.
