The Gundagai Golf Club ladies’ golfers were thrilled with the support and generosity shown by the community for their Open Charity Golf Day, held last week.

Proceeds made on the day were donated to two very worthy organisations in Gundagai Can Assist and the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute for Medical Research.

A cheque for $3000 was presented to Phil Smith from Gundagai Can Assist with $1000 also being donated to The Walter and Eliza Hall institute for Medical Research.

The Open Charity Golf Day is always a great day out and also a wonderful way to support people suffering from cancer and to help their families.
